“Glorious”
The Surf Coast around Torquay and Bells Beach is one of my favourite photographic destinations. I often set off for a day trip to either fly the drone or take digital photos. Between Bells Beach and Jan Juc are these glorious cliffs. The beautiful rocky colours against the blues and greens of the ocean make for a photo full of contrast and colour. “Lightning”
The Surf Coast around Torquay and Bells Beach is one of my favourite photographic destinations. I often set off for a day trip to either fly the drone or take digital photos. Just up the road is 13th Beach where I took this top-down drone photo of a breaking wave. I love the light, white wake the wave leaves behind, with the dark surrounds it could easily be mistaken for lightning. “Fistful Of Rocks”
The Surf Coast around Torquay and Bells Beach is one of my favourite photographic destinations. I often set off for a day trip to either fly the drone or take digital photos. This drone photograph is a top-down of the coast near 13th Beach. I chose this location because of how the waves were hitting the rocks, it was only later that I realised the rocks looked a lot like a fist pump! “Torquay”
The Surf Coast around Torquay and Bells Beach is one of my favourite photographic destinations. I often set off for a day trip to either fly the drone or take digital photos. Rocky Point is one of the main lookouts at Torquay where you can look down on the surfers pretending they are Kelly Slater. It’s a great spot to visit and only about 75 minutes from the heart of Melbourne. Another iconic surfing mecca. “Waterfall”
The Surf Coast around Torquay and Bells Beach is one of my favourite photographic destinations. I often set off for a day trip to either fly the drone or take digital photos. Just up the road is 13th Beach where I took this top-down drone photo of a breaking wave. If you look at it as it stands, it can also appear to have waterfall like qualities. The wake left behind the waves create beautiful lines and interest as do the colours of twilight. “Breaking”
The Surf Coast around Torquay and Bells Beach is one of my favourite photographic destinations. I often set off for a day trip to either fly the drone or take digital photos. Just up the road is Bellbrae where I took this top-down drone photo of a breaking wave. I love the shapes, patterns and lines that the water creates and every photo you take becomes completely unique. “Point Break”
Between Torquay and 13th Beach is a small town called Bellbrae. Here there are some fantastic sand dunes and sensational rocky coastline where the surf smashes against the shore. It’s just up from Bells Beach where the iconic ’50 year storm’ was supposed to occur (according to “Point Break” the movie). This is one of my current favourite drone spots and I will never tire of taking photos of waves.
