A hand drawn digital image ready to hang on your wall. This is the amazing Heydar Aliyev Centre in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is a building we have never visited but have often seen online. We love the beautiful curves and have allowed this single line drawing to accentuate the lovely shapes of the modern architecture. It is highly stylised but then, so is the building itself. The building was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and is named after a recent National leader of Azerbaijan. Inside are an auditorium, exhibition spaces, a conference centre, workshops, and a museum. We would certainly love to visit this modernist building one day and would love to hear if you have been.
