Can you spot the Southern Cross? Wild Whale Prints are based in the lovely old suburb of Williamstown, just 20 minutes from the city. Here you can see many historic houses, including ours which dates back to c.1905. There are also great views across the bay to the South Eastern suburbs on the beach and also the city. Williamstown also hosts a lovely beach which you can see in our shot here. On the point of Williamstown you can find this Timeball Tower. It was built in 1849 and whilst is was originally a lighthouse it was later used as a timeball tower, with the ball atop the bluestone structure slowly lowering at precisely 1pm each day. This shot was taken around 9pm on a recent warm night as cars made their way past leaving these lovely light trails. We have also released an artwork of the Timeball Tower entitled “As Time Goes By” which you can see here.[The name and white border will appear as part of the final print, however the website watermark will not appear.]
