Description

Another great area I love to visit and photograph is the Mornington Peninsula. The entire peninsula is full of interesting coastal views. At the end of the peninsula on the eastern side is the beautiful Sorrento, Portsea and Point Nepean. There is a terrific “millionaire’s walk’ which runs across the cliff and beach between Sorrento and Portsea. It is called as such because it feels like you are walking on private property in the gardens of some spectacular houses. Not to worry though, it is perfectly legal as the small strip of land between the coast and the houses is public. Along the way you will spot many of these little beach huts and piers. Many Australian artists painted some famous works from vantage points along this coast.
