This artwork is a little different. Digitally, It uses techniques of watercolour painting mixed with more direct texta drawing. The artwork uses a recent shot of the HMAS Castlemaine we took once the main Covid lockdown was over as the inspiration. Taken soon after sunset it shows the view across Port Philip Bay from Williamstown towards the city. It was a cold, cloudy night and the colours of the city lights reflected onto the clouds, it was one of the most purple nights we had ever seen.
