Description

This artwork is a little different. Digitally, It uses techniques of watercolour painting mixed with more direct texta drawing. The artwork uses a recent shot of the HMAS Castlemaine we took once the main Covid lockdown was over as the inspiration. Taken soon after sunset it shows the view across Port Philip Bay from Williamstown towards the city. It was a cold, cloudy night and the colours of the city lights reflected onto the clouds, it was one of the most purple nights we had ever seen. The artwork is purposely scratchy with marks giving the print more character. Purple Haze. Excuse me whilst I kiss the sky. [The name and white border will appear as part of the final print, however the website watermark will not appear.]

All prints are printed on 200gsm gloss paper by a third party supplier. Please note, some colours may vary slightly in print to what you see on your own computer.
