“Parabolic”

$59.00$124.00

Parabolic: having a type of curve like that made by an object that is thrown up in the air and falls to the ground in a different place. A second shot from the amazing underground carpark or South Lawn Carpark beneath the South Lawn in the middle of the Melbourne Uni campus in Parkville. The amazing arches created by the wonderfully curved beam structures create a marvellous atmosphere. But these columns aren’t just for support of the lawn above. They encase pipes which enable soil from the lawns above to reach down deeper and thus allowing the trees above space to grow roots. Quite modern thinking from a structure from the early 1970’s! You can see our black and white shot entitled “Underground” here. [The name and white border will appear as part of the final print, however the website watermark will not appear.]  Poster Rails are available for this product.
