A couple of years ago we had the pleasure of staying down in Inverloch for a few days away. Whilst there we visited the beautiful Wilsons Promontory. As a kid we would visit here annually, set up camp and enjoy much fun with various other random campers. This time around we just visited for the day and did some of the lovely beach walks. Right outside the general store was this guy, a gorgeous laughing Kookaburra. I assume he was a regular customer and had posed for many a photo as he didn’t seem scared at all even when I got close. This drawing based on the photo from that day, was done more recently, over September 2019. We also have a Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo in our collection, see “Winging It” here.
