Description

This is Eddystone Point and Lighthouse on the North East coast of  Tasmania.  We were lucky enough to spend a week in Binalong Bay in the Bay of Fires region last year and spent the entire time exploring the area. Eddystone Point was quite a drive with many dirt roads in our little tin box, hire car but it was well worth the effort. The Lighthouse dates back to 1889 but even more spectacular were the huge granite boulders covered in red lichen alongside the beautiful emerald colours in the sea. It made for a superb photographic destination, as did most of Tasmania that we saw. You can see our other print from this location, “Eddystone Point” here.
