“Flinders Street Station”, a hand drawn, digital illustration ready to hang on your walls. Such an iconic building for people who live in Melbourne and also for visitors. We have mentioned before on our photographic print of this building, many people arrange to meet under the clocks at this Melbourne train station. Our long exposure print of this location is in fact called “Under the clocks“. You can find it here. This illustration was done over January 2023 and using the hatching and cross hatching techniques to add the detail to the building. As in real life, the Flinders Street Station sign is illuminated in yellow. The station has gone through various developments and improvements over the years, but was originally opened in 1854. Some of the old, unused rooms currently house an exhibition by popular street artist RONE. Flinders Street Station, an icon of the City of Melbourne.
