“Bunjil”

$59.00$124.00

The story of Bunjil is of aboriginal heritage. It tells of a deity, most often a wedge-tailed eagle, who watches over the land. In Melbourne, Bruce Armstrong created a sculpture entitled “Eagle” which is also inspired by Bunjil tales. It is located in Docklands and was originally looking over Melbourne to keep it safe. The sculpture is now rather more surrounded by tall skyscrapers, roads and Marvel Stadium. We drove past it recently and decided to create our own simple work inspired by the aboriginal legend. [The name and white border will appear as part of the final print, however the website watermark will not appear.] Poster Rails are also available for this product.
