The City of Hobsons Bay is our home and therefore is an easy spot to photograph. One night recently we headed out quickly to try out our new member of the wild whale family, our new DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone. We were so very lucky to have such a sensational sunset to shoot that evening, the colours were amazing as they changed over the half hour or so we were there. The new drone did a marvellous job of catching the scene in terrific quality. Altona pier is a sensational destination for locals on a warm evening, many this night even braved the still cold waters as they jumped from the pier into the ocean. This photo faces West and you can see Altona and Altona Meadows in the background. You can see another shot from this shoot here “Twilight”.
